Welcome to the project website for Edinburgh Green.

Set within the site of the Younger Building and the former Drummond House, Edinburgh Green will create a new kind of workplace that will enhance the employment offer within the emerging 20-minute neighbourhood in West Edinburgh.

The proposals respond to the significant shift in occupier priorities for workspace that are now focused on wellbeing and sustainability, following Edinburgh’s pathway to Net Zero. New buildings will create a strong urban edge to the surrounding streets, opening onto a large central park which will be a place of activity, green space and amenity for both occupiers and the wider neighbourhood, and will feature Scotland’s largest EV charging hub.

Alongside the refurbished Younger Building, the proposals will deliver a range of highly sustainable, contemporary workspace that will suit a range of users and businesses, significantly densifying and diversifying a well-connected brownfield site in the west of the city.

A Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) was submitted to the City of Edinburgh Council on 3^rd March 2022, commencing a minimum 12-week public consultation period.

Revised proposals were submitted to the City of Edinburgh Council in November 2023.

The proposals are being brought forward by Shelborn Asset Management.
